250gdried pasta (bowtie, penne, shells, or long pasta like spaghetti)
1egg
350gcottage cheese
½cupmilk, cream, or a mix of both
70gfeta cheese, crumbled
2tbspgrated Parmesan (optional)
Salt, to taste
70gshredded melty cheese for topping (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Line or lightly grease a 20×30 cm (8×12 inch) baking dish.
Cook the pasta in well-salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain but do not rinse.
In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, egg, milk or cream, feta, Parmesan (if using), and salt.
Add the hot pasta to the bowl and stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Top with the shredded melty cheese.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
