Our Story
Nuni & oli
Hi everyone, my name is Nuni, I’m 25 years old, and this is my story.
I grew up in a home where there was always something cooking, either by my parents or my brother. My mom, a stay-at-home mom, always made sure we had fresh (and relatively healthy :)) meals. Luckily, she let me in the kitchen from a very young age and taught me everything she knew.
I graduated from university with a B.Sc. in Economics, Statistics, and Data Science. I took a gap year after graduation to focus on doing the things I love and enjoying life before I start looking for a full-time job. During this year, I managed to travel, do arts and crafts, eat delicious food, and of course, cook and experiment in the kitchen. Oh, and most importantly, we welcomed a very precious member to the family: Oli.
I enjoyed my degree, but my real passion has always been cooking, and it was distressing for me not to follow my heart. The decision to not start a “normal” career was difficult; I struggled a lot before finally deciding to fulfill my dreams. Luckily, my family, friends, partner, and of course Oli, are very supportive.
Honestly, welcoming Oli to the family was the best decision I ever made. I love him so much and can’t imagine my life without him. (SERIOUSLY, IF YOU’RE DEBATING WHETHER TO GET A CAT—GO GET A CAT!)
So… I guess this is where I am now, making my dreams come true, and I can’t ask for a better partner and supervisor for this journey than Oli.
